Just got this pair yesterday! Please let me know your opinions, I don't get into the commercial breeds much. I know they could use a little depth, is that something they might get as they mature? Thanks!

Woodstone's Tallulah, just shy of 3 months old

Stars and Moons' Roy, 7 weeks old

Tallulah is a sharp rabbit for her age with very nice color. She shows a lot of promise.

Roy still has alot of developing to do, which isn't at all surprising given that he's a mere 7 weeks old. Once he gets past that baby coat, he will likely turn out to be a nice one. With his ears as big as they are, I'm seeing quite a bit of size and girth being put on over the next few months. I've always wanted to see that with my bucks.

Congrats on picking up a couple of very promising reds.

Actually, the SHAPE of depth is there, they just have to finish growing into their ears. They look promising, and the color on the buck is pretty good for his age...I have some that start out like that, and some that start out almost blond with obvious flank stripes--they manage to get their color eventually, but the darker kit color is always better! I am trying to breed away from the lighter color.
