Urine guards will depend on the individual animal... I've had bucks that don't spray an some that are "animals".... the animals get the lowest level and cardboard dividers until they are culled...You mentioned off setting doors.... I have a combination of used an new equipment... I noticed one of rows of used cages, offsets to the top in a bad way... the water is above the feed of the rabbit below them... PLEASE do not make this mistake!! I had to do some adjusting so the feed of the rabbit below isn't wet. (get moldy fast)I use trays and I am in a couple of horse stalls in a barn, so I can't help with the outdoor roofing structure or the poop slide issues... But, I do suggest lots of overhang for your roof...(though of this post as I was feeding my chickens in a chicken tractor during a rain storm the other day...an overhang to protect myself from elements would have been nice)
