She looks pretty nice from the picture. Could do with a bit more depth to balance out the ears, but not bad. Neck may be a bit low, but it's hard to tell from pictures sometimes. How much does she weigh? Can the breeder take a picture of her from the back and the top also? That will give you a better idea of her width.

She looks pretty nice! I would ask for more pics also though, just to see her head. Of course fur can only be determined in person although it doesn't look half bad in the picture! Worth a trip to go see I would say! :)

I am going to try to see her this weekend. The breeder is selling a bunch her mom wants her to cut the heard down. The one I want has 7 legs but she wants $200 for her. crazy.

__________ Sun Nov 28, 2010 8:13 pm __________

Well then you guys tell me if she is worth it she has 7 legs 2 of them are BIS and mind you she is for a youth. I can't go to her but she will be bring her to the show this weekend if I choose her. here is the only pic of her on her web site. Now she is $200 but I might beable to get a discount if I buy both.

With that kind of resume, it's hard to argue that the rabbit you've described is lacking genetics. Whether or not you wanna drop 2 Ben Franklins to get your mitts on a single rabbit is a call only you can make. It's your money, and if you decide that's the route you want to go, by all means do so.

I'll say this--it would be stupid for me to criticize you for it. When you add up what I paid for my satins, plus the gas and food round trip, I paid a pretty sizable amount of money for quality breeding stock, but it's a price so many of us are willing to pay for getting started the right way.

Jasharia,
that B/Black looks very nice and may certainly be worth the investment.
That $200.00 Doe may be worth the money to get your herd of to a roaring start,
but, any decision to part with so many dollars for one rabbit
must be a well thought after choice. That choice is entirely up to you and your family.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:

I am going to give her a call tomorrow after work and see what she says. I do like her the more I look at her. I paid $100 for my english angora and he was only 8 weeks old. Now he has 2 legs. He got them when he was only 5mo and I had to enter him as a SR he was over the JR weight. I have till friday to make up my mind.

Woweee that's some rabbit.. awesome. However; how old is she now and has she raised any litters? She looks like she is past prime a teensy bit but she could probably still kick a** on the tables yet. Her value to you is in her offspring...4 kits sold at $50.00 would get you your initial investment back. :)
