Hi! I'm new to this site and to bunnies too really! I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what brand of pellets I should feed, what's the best age to start breeding, and really any info on breeding would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum! :) Right now I'm feeding the TSC-brand of pellets, I forget what the name is, but I also just got a free "trial sample" of Sherwood Forest Pellets. I might be trying that on my smaller rabbits. Here's the link if you want a free sample: https://www.naturalrabbitfood.com/sherw ... bbit-food/

I also supplement my Champagnes with Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (BOSS) and Calf Mana. I'm quitting the supplements for my Holland since he's been moulting hardcore every time he gets BOSS, though I might continue it for my Angoras. :)

I try to breed the first time at six months.

There's LOTS of folk more experienced on this forum though (I'm still pretty new) who will have a LOT more info for you though. :D This forum is awesome.

I'm feeding MannoPro, by default, because there are only four brands available, one of which I won't feed any of their products, the other is a an off color and bigger sized pellets, one contains corn, which I am on the fence about. It's a decent price, and works for me.

I start breeding whenever the doe is ready, which is about 6-7 mos. I actually got one to breed at 4 mos, but she didn't take, and bred her again at 5 mos, and got a litter of 11. I am breeding for meat and show, and trying to work on a fast breed back schedule, which is working for some does and not for others.
