New cages!

I got some awesome (but very rusty) cages! These were all 60 bucks.

pressure wash them and hit them with a couple of coats of paint and they will be as good as new, great

Score!!!! A little scrub with a wire brush and some paint and you're in business. I'm jealous. I need 2 sets of 3-high stackables. Wish I could find some used ones for cheap

Rust-Oleum, it's for metal and to prevent rust.

That's what I used for mine after it was recommended here on RT. I like using fun. Colors.

I'll paint them... red white and blue. LOL, nope just more money for that. I'll pick some rust oleum up sometime soon.

Umm...Rustoleum makes red, white and blue paint

LOL!! I know it makes those colors, but I would have to buy more of a variety of paint, more cans of paint.

Joking. Mine are really painted so that if my hubby has to tend to them, I can give him easy instructions like "The ones in the pink cage get X, and the blue cage buns get Y."

Yeah, that's why they're painted. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I just got a bunch of super cheap (and rusty) cages too. My plan is to give them a good scrub tonight with a wire brush and see where I stand then. A couple might need the bottoms replaced but hopefully a good cleaning and some paint will have most of them right as rain.

I just painted one teal, one a reddish color, and one green. Then I painted the feeders the same color and painted a colored dot on the water bottles so it's all color coordinated and I know which bottles go where when I take them in to clean them. My unpainted cages look boring now.

Yeah, I just spent $185 for 4 new cages, so that is an awesome deal. Awesome idea with the creative paintjobs! I want to see the new pics!

I have to paint the red and black one in certain places, one can didn't cut it. The rabbits will be living in their color coded cages tomorrow!

Okay... more updates! LOL I feel rediculous updating about cages... but hey, oh well. Anyway, I got all seven rabbits in them (temporarily) and they like actually seeing the sun, and grass, and nature... yeah. They look so groovy and professional now in these cages... lol.
