Young doe built a lovely nest Nd pulled fur yesterday. Cannot feel any kits inside, though. She had been housed with a young buck, so breeding date is unknown. No popples yet, how long between nest building and kindling?

It varies. Some does will start a week or more before kindling, others wait until the last minute. Usually after fur pulling, mine will either kindle immediately, or a day or two later.
Have you removed the buck from her cage? They will sometimes harass the does while they are kindling, and will definitely breed them soon after they finish.

He was abruptly removed the minute I found a cage to borrow, lol. Checked her vulva for stuck kit at lunch (nothing found - thankfully), and replaced her water with cold, dilute raspberry tea. I guess all that's left is to wait. <sigh>. I don't wanna wait.
