Nest box sizes

Just curious what size nest boxes any of you use for your Calis? I feel like the one I made is on the small side even though it's considered a medium-large size nest box according to your average site that sells nest boxes.

W/e TSC sells works fine for my Calis. No idea what size that is, though.

I use TSCs as well for my NZ and Cals. Depending on what breed of rabbit you have it could be smaller I would think. Of course it might need to be larger if you have say Flemish. I'll measure the nesting box when I check on my rabbits next and let you know.

I was looking at the TSC website and I see a metal nest box with a removable wood bottom; it says its 10.5" W 18.5" L 9" H. Is this the one you two use?

That should work right down the dementions the measure one of your does, the rule of thumb is the doe should have 2" on all sides of her so as long as its close you'll be ok. I use this size for my 5-6lb mini lops and it works good.
