"MOST" problems mama rabbits have...................is their owner..!!!!

Leave them alone and let them do their job without your interference.
If you nervously check on them 10 times an hour....they're gonna be nervous.
Go on about your business like you normally would and I guarantee you,
the doe/s will do the same.

Your anxiety becomes their anxiety. Your nervousness makes them nervous.
They can sense these nuances better than any human walking. When it is
"their-time" they'll know. All of your disturbances to their daily routine only
enhances their abilities to conceal their concerns about their upcoming delivery.

Quite often, they'll give you a sad surprise by kindling on the wire.
Don't blame them....go to the mirror and curse the culprit you see. It's no
one's fault but your own. It surely isn't the rabbits' mistake. It's one of those
twenty-times in an hour that you "just-peeked" to see how she was doing.

It's the absolute "hardest" thing you'll ever have to do, but just leave her
alone and let she and Mother Nature take care of business. Sorry to add
this.............but you're just in the way of progress. Once she's done, give
her an hour or so to clean herself and her family up. THEN you can visit
and she won't feel like you're an intruder.

Use caution though.........she just might bite your butt for being so nosy.

Good advice I go out to see the rabbits several times a day I top off the water a check to see how much hay they have and at night I give fresh water and pellets in the evening. I will go and check on them if it is hot out and see what the temp is in their area and my better half goes out and talks to them at least once a day. When we go in 4 out of 6 comes to the door to see us. My thinking is this way with us going in their several times a day they will be used to it and should not bother them later on and we also talk to them so they do not get startled.

C T Bunnies I am like you; my rabbits are very used to me going in and out and they are unconcerned when I come in with my dogs as they collect hay, pull fur, birth, and nurse. But when they are busy, I don't fuss with them either.
But. I know people like Grumpy is describing. HORRIBLE situations for rabbits to be in!! We're not talking water-topping off and a look-over a few times a day, we are talking excited, charged whispers (or shouts and yelling from exuberant adults & children, I've seen all ages do it) and jerking open nestboxes and lifting and palpating and bothering and frightening a poor mother-to-be over and over. It's one thing if the rabbit has grown up with the breeder and knows them and thinks this is all routine, but some do this with their brand new rabbits. And then they get mad when she abandons the litter or eats them. Some people have no common sense.
