Need Your Help Finding Rabbit Facts

I am putting together my lecture notes for "Meat Rabbit 101" seminars which I will be holding in April. I am trying to find evidence-based research sources for rabbit facts (not just a fact posted on somebody's website - looking for original sources or reliable sources, such as USDA, agricultural universities, etc)

Facts I am wanting:

Feed conversion ratio of commercial meat breeds (Californian, New Zealand, etc) - about how many pounds of feed per pound of weight gain

Nutrition facts of domestic rabbit - this is posted everywhere on rabbit websites but not sourced directly to evidence-based sites such as USDA

will have more to add to my list as I work through the notes.....

Google has an option called 'scholar' where all the scientific journal articles are listed.

Rabbit Production by Peter F Cheeke et al. It's the definitve work and a textbook, I've got an earlier edition, the latest edition is pricey but the earlier ones have all the info you're looking for. Your library might have it.
