The kit could very well have some form of snuffles or pneumonia, in which case you would be hearing fluid/mucus moving around as it breathes.

If the kit is acting normally, and is old enough to wean, you could isolate and watch it, observing quarantine protocols. Or you could cull.

If the kit is acting "off", it is probably sick, and the clicking is a symptom -- a symptom that indicates advanced illness. I would cull immediately.

I'm sorry, Bandit!

The kit is 3 days old. It's actually doing a lot better. I think it might've gotten a tiny bit of formula up its nose, but I don't hear the clicking anymore. I still need to keep a close eye on them.

Oh, that's right, I saw you were feeding some babies! That's probably what happened. Glad it's doing better... yeah, definitely not old enough to isolate, so one of those things you have to take what you know of its situation and figure what's most likely. I think formula is most likely. :)

But definitely keep an eye on the little thing. Hope that's all that's going on. :clover:

The one kit died. Not from formula in its lungs but it got off the heating pad while I was asleep and it got cold. why does it have to be the favorite?!?!?!

Oh no... :( Seems like that's always the way. Sorry for the loss.

Sorry you lost the little guy, Bandit. :(

Good luck with the other ones! :clover:

Thanks. I was so sad :( that was my favorite kit. It's freckle pattern was so cute. I was going to keep it if it made it through. I'm thinking I might give mom another chance at breeding, but if she doesn't get pregnant by May, I'm going to sell her
