I'm considering buying this doe to breed to my friend's BEW buck that has AMAZING type. Any thoughts on her? Thanks! :)

Hips look pinched and she has an odd arch to her back. Have you handled her? Could it be the pictures are just not good?

What are your plans for the kits? If for pet homes does she have a sweet temperament and tidy habits?

Will this be her first litter? Has she had any problems in the past? She looks like a true dwarf so may have additional birthing difficulties and if I remember correctly your friends BEW buck has quite the head on him :D

Legs are really sticking out, kind of looks like her butt is hidden way under her, too.

I have not actually handled her and I probably won't get to until I actually purchase her, if I do decide to. She is about an hour and a half from me. I sold a rabbit to her owner and discovered she had some VMs so that's how this came about. This is what her breeder told me about her birthing history...

She was born, 4/25/12 she had a litter of 4 late last yr, and she lost 3 and I fostered 1 to another doe because her first time she didn't pull much fur, then this yr in Mar she had 3, she had a nice amount of fur, one I believe was born right on the front edge of the nestbox and the other 2 were too far apart and didn't make it. It was very cold. If I wasn't going to sell her to you I would rebreed and hope for better results in warmer weather.

Sounds like just first time doe issues to me, but now I'm a bit worried about whether or not she has pinched hips, because Dood is right...the buck I'll be breeding her to does have a huge head!

Also, I'd be paying $25 for her and a partial pedigree. My friend's buck has no pedigree so we'll be building our own anyway.
