I'm mostly working for color. All chinchilla shades and all ermine shades. I want to stay close to standard though and sell my black chins off for show. Others might be good for breeding stock. I don't pose them often though since I don't show so it's always a frustrating exercise.

This is "blue rabbit" a blue ermine about 4 months old and I'm on the fence about keeping him. He is a very small rabbit with better ears than his dam. Not as good of head position and top line. Very soft rollback fur so he looks scruffy if you don't take time to smooth it back out. Great personality. He's been sitting on my pillow for the past 3 hours watching me play games on the laptop.

His sire was a little big and nasty tempered but good type so I got that one litter from him and someone else took him for free. That is his 3rd free home and I did really warn them but they insisted they needed a show rabbit now.

I have the full brother to blue rabbit's mother, both lilac ermine. I have to get current pics of him. Blue rabbit really has Kuwa's head.

Choroi is completely unrelated, carries c :| and probably not any e. Great type though and good personality. He pretty much sets himself up in the right pose when you plop him on the table. $20 and breeder is 30mins away. I might go asking them for a doe this spring. Don't tell my husband.

I'm not sure if I need all 3 bucks or not. Things are difficult right now and less to take care of the better but I don't want to think too short term and sell off everything for a temporary problem.

Does to follow. I have chocolate chin, black chin, lilac ermine does from the same litter to breed to kuwa and choroi. Then I still have the mother lilac ermine. Her litter by choroi got eaten by rodents. I also have a chocolate doe, carrying dilute, with really nice ears but she refuses to breed with anything useful and then her offspring would carry a. While sallanders are cool I don't have a space to work with those and black chins carrying a will be less desirable by other breeders. Self chins would be useless. I don't think I can sell her for anything though so I might just pitch her in colony and use all offspring as dog meals. Not like ND eat or drink much.
