I say "new" as I've had them since the end of February. :D Yes, I know I should have shared earlier but I didn't want to share a bunch of pictures and then something happen to one or all of them.

This is the tri buck. I've bred him to my rex cross magpie doe that will be her 4th litter and also to the 1/2 rex torted harlequin doe that is on the pictures below.

The tri doe. She's not quite old enough to bred yet.

The white (REW) doe. She her sire is a broken blue otter and her dam is a chocolate so fingers crossed for otter! She will be bred to my lilac buck in about 2 weeks.

Their little "hutch". So I've been very pleased with this.

And this girl is 1/2 rex out of my chinchilla doe. She's been bred to the tri buck.

And another 1/2 rex doe she is out of my broken chin doe. I'm hoping she carries chin. She will be bred to my lilac rex buck (her sire) the same time the white doe is bred.

So pretty! I love the rex fur, it's so soft. The 1/2 rex tort has the cutest face :D And the tri doe is beautiful.

Just curious, did you build that "hutch"? If so, I am curious how to build it. I have wire cages, but nothing for them to be on, so I put them on bricks, and they are not more than 6 or 7 inches off the ground. It's been fine, as we have nearly no predators, but when there were kits my dog got 2  We did fix up the wire but she is good at hunting. The cages are a bit heavy, but if there was a way for me to build something like that, it would be perfect! What is strong and stable enough to attach the cages? And what is the base to keep it sturdy? And what is the best wire for the flooring and sides? My cages are actually wire racks to put shoes in, but we put on tarp for the roofing, and a wire floor. I would like to replace it though, the wire I have is flimsy. And I want to put strong wire on the sides of the does and kits cages to prevent escape. What size and type of wire is best? Sorry for all of the questions

The shelter or hutch or what ever you want to call it was pretty easy to do. I did it myself in an afternoon. I bought 2 4x4 treated posts and used salvaged 2x4's and a 4x8 sheet of OSB board I already had. The cages are an all wire cage bank that has 3- 24x30 cages for a total length of 6ft.

The posts are set in the ground without concrete but the holes were dug in heavy clay so it's worked really well. If it was sandy soil you would probably want to set the posts.

I hung the cages using hangers from some shop lights that hubby had bought he didn't use the hangers when he installed the light so I stole them.
I'll upload the plans I used to make it.
