Below are pictures of my Holland Lop Lionhead kits at 2 weeks. If you read my other post on them, these were the babies that were born very small so they are behind in growth. I have several goals that I hope to eventually achieve. I was hoping some lionlops eventually, although I believe mini lops are generally used. I also wanted to get chocolate into my lionheads. Lastly I wanted to possibly get a BEW. I expect to have to breed back several times to accomplish. The doe and buck have wonderful temperament.
The doe is vienna marked (I'm assuming from the blue eyes) and the buck is not then the probability of having a marked or carrier is 25% correct? So if I bred a marked kit back to the doe then I'd have a 25% of getting a BEW?

Did the black kit come from the fawn doe? Genetically not literally lol

If the chocolate kit is a doe and I breed here back to the chocolate holland buck would all the kit then be chocolate?

Here is the Doe Lionhead

50% will be carriers - 'W' is not vienna and 'w' is vienna, therefor WW for the buck and Ww for the doe.

if I bred a marked kit back to the doe then I'd have a 25% of getting a BEW?
Yes, also 50% would be carriers (or marked) and 25% would not have vienna (normals)

Did the black kit come from the fawn doe?
She must carry a self gene to produce blacks and chocolates, other wise they would be chestnut and chocolate agouti.

If the chocolate kit is a doe and I breed here back to the chocolate holland buck would all the kit then be chocolate?
Yes, but they may not be all self chocolate, you could get chocolate tortoiseshell, or chocolate point if there are other hidden recessive genes that match up in the buck and doe.

What cute kits! I really like the little chocolate one! :p

Good luck with your project! I have a little side project myself, breeding "Leonis Rex", a cross between LionHeads and standard Rex. I am now on Generation II. :)
