Picked up a trio of french lops from convention...it was so great to be able to see it, but didn't get much time to look around wit a 4 and 1 year old tired from the drive and with 3 more hours to get home didnt want them to hit cranky. bribing them with mcdonalds helped!!

I am going to try working with Tri's mainly, they come from good lines, so I am looking forward to takin them to shows soon. Hoping to be able to go to the DEC1st show in Sedalia, MO..but being a SAHM idk how that would work.

First is RD's Ripley Beleive it or Not. She is 14 weeks old..she hasnt been put outside yet because my daughter is smitten with her. and with her cat going MIA..been 6 weeks now..she really needs the fuzzy companion. And of course, this girl tolerates everything from the kids from pony tails, hair clips, to being dressed up and carried in a basket..but she baulks at me petting her if I have no treats. Suprisingly, she is my favorite personality wise in the group

Then, RD's Ponderous. He is kinda small and not very widthy..which I really need with the tri-doe. But we'll see!! He is 8.5 months old and only 10.8lbs atm. He was super nervous at first but as long as I am slow and talk gently he opens up a bit and will come to me for some head rubs

Then, there is RD's Miss Magnifique. I thought my Murphy was a diva...but this girl makes her looks angelic. She growls and grunts if you pet her, but if you ignore her and pet Po then she growls, too. Girl can't make up her mind. She is 4.5 months old and last month weighed 10.3lbs..so she is going to be a biiig girl. Pictures dont do her justice...she is like my little bloodhound with those droopy eyes lol.

Hope you don't mind, but I just made the pic of your daughter hugging the bun on the couch as my new desktop wallpaper....too cute.

Lol not at all! My littlest looooves all things small and fuzzy! My poor holland and the cat have learned to avoid her..but Murphy LOVES her and will run up to her and flatten for some attention.
This is Murphy prior to surgery..her leg was splayed due to an abcess so it looks funny

My poor holland was determined to get the cheerios regardless of the enemies he may come across

cute bunnies and cute kids. :) My son is crazy about the bunnies too. I may keep him a flemish giant kit this time around because my Jersey Woolies are to sweet and he takes advantage. lol

Those pictures are just too cute for words! Congratulations on picking up some new bunnies! Forgive me as I don't know anything about lops, but in my opinion they are gorgeous. I hope they contribute to your herd in only positive ways.

Thanks everyone :) These three will be the first I have attempted with breeding and showing. I have always just had the indoor house bunnies! And Rebecca has been SO AWESOME to work with and super helpful explaining genetics ect

LOL I agree...I was going through the pictures I had taken the past week and saw that one...it was too priceless! It was a rush to get the cheerios, my kid was freaking out and kept trying to lay on the poor bunny

CONGRATULATIONS! Absolutely adorable trio! Wishing you all the luck with them.

Your daughter definitely loves her bunnies! Thanks so much for sharing all those awesome pics!

Look forward to seeing more.

Karen

What wonderful bunnies!

I think your babies have acute Rabbitosis infections already... they certainly love their wabbits!

Thanks, hoping for babies in March!

The 1 year old is obsessed...the oldest couldnt care a less unless she wants to drag someting around haha. my holland is the most tolerable of the group if he gets caught

Soo cute!it takes a special bunny too put up with a toddler.

Very true! I am still amazed at how tolerable my indoor rabbits are of her. she "brushes" them and they are extremely careful when taking treats from her hand.

I feel extremely lucky my pets have always been amazing wit kids..minus a puppy we got that we had to return sadly.

The baby wont be allowed near them lol. she gets overly excited and likes laying on them, hence why i love how durable these guys are!!

Went to walmart and got litter boxes for the does, the bucks cage isnt big enough for one to fit his fuzzybutt. So the tri doe treats it like some alien object while the little brkn orange doe jumps right in when my oldest puts it in and flops down in it. So much for keeping her clean! The does are both in 4x3 pens with vinyl flooring. so they have pink carpet in there i picked up at walmart for 1.88$. like 18" by 30" and some cat balls with bells in them that were in the clearance aisle.

Hubby says...stop spoiling them or its going to go to their head and they will end up like murphy...oh but murphy is so lovable i told him!!!..He looked at me all dramatically like i was insane and brought up the many times she had thrown fits over me cutting her off after a few cranberries or dragging a wet towel around and putting a hole in it when i left it in her way and of course her expensive high maintenance needs to accommodate her disability...and she must have heard because she stomped and hobbled off to her trash can to hide in-butt out.

Thanks!!! tri-colors are still newish in the french lops, so i am going to be super picky with type on them, but i looove the tris so much :) I am REALLY hoping for some tris...seems like this month has gone by soooo slow! shes due the 11th

and im not much for hay racks so this way they can pull hay through an eat it and keeps it insulaed a bit lol. and a good wall between the buck and doe
