My first Pedigreed Babies!!!

My REW EA doe had 5 or 6 babies this morning! I was in here emailing the breeder
to let her know she had pulled fur and she was out there busy having them LOL
This is her first live litter, so I still don't know if she will feed them
properly yet ... I hope so!!!

I will know in the morning how many she had as all I did was clip the fur she
pulled and snipped some more hay for the front of the nest.

I also gave her a handful of winter wheat for a job well done!!!

There are 5 babies in the nest. The breeder says her mom kindled last week and regularly pops out 10, so I hope when she gets into mom mode, she will up the litter size

She is doing great as a mom ... so I also gave her 3 from the meat rabbit litter of 11 ... the biggest of those were the same size as Rosie's smallest one and all that litter weighs in from 1.5 oz to 2 oz.<br /><br />__________ Mon Mar 19, 2012 12:57 pm __________<br /><br />OK, I finally got organized enough to take photos and upload them, so here they are:
