:p went out this morning to find 7 babies - 4 solid, 3 broken (probably all chestnut) in a nest full of fluffy fur! Photos to follow as it was too dark and to wet for picture taking.. I'm so excited! Ms. Peanut Butter Cup is a Rock Star first time mom :p

Here's a few photos - sorry for the blur (dang wiggly babies!)

the nest is so full of black/grey fuzz I had to dig them out to get a good picture which wasn't happening so I tried putting them in a shoe box and they commenced to 'puppy pile' before I could get my silly camera ready.

I don't know about the brokens but the 4 solid I'm pretty sure I have 3 chestnuts and 1 black :)

:) awesome. You can tell by the ears right? I wasn't sure but I was thinking one may be black

I'm thinking these 7 will be the castaways - Don't know the sexes but I think it will work out - Gilligan, Skipper, Lovie, Thurston, Ginger, Maryann and The Professor ;)

Right you are. :) It is the one with the solid black ears.

Cute baby pile!
Black otter is not showable in Mini Lops, so hopefully it is not that.
My guess would be Gold tipped black steel. The gold tipping usually starts around the back of the head and spreads as they grow older. It's a popular color in Mini Lops.

Gold tipped black steel - there are a number of them in the parent's pedigrees :) I think both my black kits may be ticked the solid black has light colored hairs on its neck/ears as well.
