My fingers are once again crossed, this time for Reds

Bred 2 does yesterday, both reds. To date, I've had a rather rotten run of luck in getting a doe bred, let alone making it through nursing a litter of them, but I am guardedly optimistic because both does took rather readily.

In the past 2 years, it was always something: Does were too young to breed, lost my breeder buck (twice), lost a litter to extended summertime weather that went thru the fall.

Finally it seems to be working out for me, or at least this red breeder can only hope so.

Good luck! I would love to have some reds, and the second best thing is seeing someone else that has them! Please post pics if you get some red popples!
