I bravely posted an ad on CL in the hopes of earning a bit of cash toward upkeep of the bunnehs. :money: I posted pics of cute little wabbits, and then...

Meat. *GASP!*

Needless to say, I'm wondering what type of reaction I'll get. opcorn:

I like it MSD!!! very informative, you might get a few people talkin trash but for the most part I don't have any trouble. but I only post under "Farm & Garden" never under pets. I know quite a few people have made that mistake.

I get the rare email about it, which I send to spam as soon as I read the first telling words. The rest is usually 'flagged and removed', though, I always place them in the right areas, those crazed people just don't follow rules or laws.

Nitpick away! I was appalled that there was a misspelling... but thankfully, the blog post is not mine! I double checked the spelling in my ad though! :roll:

Here's someone on the Monterey CL who posts this add with the carcass picture regularly and he doesn't get hassled. If it was on the SF CL he wouldn't be that lucky. I talked to him @ a rabbit show and at the next rabbit show his wife actually bought 3 bunz from ME

Jollys, how much do you sell yours for?

My Rex go for $20 per head to begin with. I want to charge more but they are not pedigreed yet (only 1 more generation to go! :evil: ) If I have really nice ones popping out of the litter I can squeeze $25 out of them. It is a little hard to sell for more. only an 1.5 hours away is a breeder who sells pedigreed for $35 (and has very nice rabbits I might add) Mine are coming along I love how blue they are. I threw some black back into the lines and has helped improve my color. Some pretty blue rabbits Iam pushing out these days and grow out isn't to shabby either about 5 lbs at 11-12 weeks
