Triscuit had 16 not 15 kits.

the whole brood

the solids

the brokens

Jilly's 11

Meggie's Pups (2 girls, 2 boys)

Tempy's Pups (all boys)

PinPin's HL Kits being raised by Miss Q a polish. PinPin said NO I don't want to be a mom.

The next litters have some in each that are struggling. I needed to foster kits around.. Carma was raising three litters (but is now raising four) Some of the kits are having a hard time with that, but they are almost three weeks old so with food they should come round with just getting a nip and tuck here and there from Carma.

Carma's Kits - two are struggling - Stevie was raising these but she started to say no to them about a week ago.... took two away, took the last two today (she was chasing them around with intent to damage). Stevie won't be long for the world if she does this next litter.

Stevie's litter (one is quite small, one is thin, two are okay)

Miss Q's kits are raring to go. If I felt confident I"d give them their own digs to help the others, but I don't feel that confident. I will remove them for a spell overnight though. Missing one feed won't hurt these kits.

Acorn's kits (I was simply lucky to save these kits when they were born, the black is in great shape, the broken not so much)

And that's all my wee babies at the moment. hopefully they will all pull through. Carma looks in great shape yet... but she's caring for a lot of kits. All she does when she gets a new one is grunt at it and shove it in with the rest. :)

Aww! How cute!

I wish I had a good foster momma like yours just in case, but all my does throw large litters and *so far* I've not had a need for a foster since I got rid of all of my sick starter stock. Still would be nice to have one on hand for piece of mind though.

one thing I've learned is that Red Pete who is supposed to be English spot/New Zealand mix is probably not that.

These litters have sable points and blue torts in the mix... and I've not gotten those colours in my meat buns before.. so what Red Pete truly was... I have NO idea. :)
