So, I am moving in the next couple days as I am buying my own house. I am going to try to make the move as stress free as possible for the does and kits, but I have a question. I am in Phoenix az so I have had my bunnies inside due to heat all summer. I would like for them to be outside at the new place. It is still up in the 80's during the day and 50-60's at night. What can I do to make sure the popples don't get chilled? They are two weeks old and fuzzy. I have taken the nest box out as they kept jumping out and couldn't get back in. Would it be worth it to put it back in for warmth at night?

You bought a house?!? :p :p :p

:congratulations:

I would give the box back to the bunnies. Make sure to put a brick or something in front of it so they can easily hop back in.

Enjoy your new home! Can't wait to see pics!

Yes, I'm super excited to get moving. Was supposed to get keys Thursday, but a technicality made me wait until next tuesday. So two more days! First time buying a house, so very eager to get in. Does are due wednesday on, so really hoping they take it well. Both are making good nests, so hopefully keeping the same boxes and cages, just moving a bit doesn't stress them out too much. I will post pics when I take them. Thanks for the advise. I put the box back in and they keep hopping out. I tried putting it on the side and they seem to prefer just not using the thing, even with a step to help them in and out. Little stinkers. They are making it fine piling on each other through the night, though. It's only getting down into the mid 50's. The good part of arizona living!
