I have two does sharing a hutch at the moment and the time has come to seperate them. I want to breed one of them, and I have an extra indoor cage so I am thinking that I might move her to my garage which is not heated.

I might then move her to my breezeway eventually, which is probably about 55-60 degrees.

Do you think she will get sick from being moved into the garage?

Watch the ventilation. Most animal buildings have vents cut along the top or centered in the roof because lack of fresh air will quickly lead to respiratory symptoms. My grandma tried to winter proof the stable by adding tarps on all the doorways without top cut vents and the horses all got sick. We ended up with coughing horses every year after that until we moved to the new house and professionally built stable with both vents cut along the sides and a center roof vent with fan.

hmm, well it is an attached garage, with two car doors an outside door and a door into the breezeway. It is empty aside from enough poorly organized storage to prevent both cars from fitting.

I will definitely keep that in mind, thanks.
