So that pointed kit ... the one we labeled blue sable point marten. Her eyes are now brown. They have slowly changed from med blue, to gray/blue, to brown. Here are some current pictures. Does that label still fit? Her dam is a Tort (Fern) and her sire is a Palomino (Thumper) that throws shaded and otters.
She has light pointing on her feet, top of her tail, ears and nose (not quite butterfly, but more than just nose)
In my current nest boxes, I have 3 shaded kits out of a Palomino doe (Ruby) and a Palomino buck (Thumper). 2 look the same as the pointed kit above, except that their eyes were brown right from the start. One of them looks different though. It was hard to catch it in pictures. Hopefully you can see what I am talking about.
This is it next to one of the other shaded kits.
A few more:
She really didn't want to hold still! You can see her tail in this picture.
Also, out of Wheezy (Agouti) and Shadow (Black), we got a few that are throwing me.
The chins have blue eyes. It is actually really striking in person. They are very bright blue.
I also have a black kit with blue eyes from this litter. I tried googling it and it was talking about self-chins and a bunch of stuff that just confused me
