Mini rex umbilical cord nub

I have a mini rex kit and where is umbilical cord fell off it kinda looked odd so I went to move it slightly to look at it and some of it came out it bled slightly and I got scared that I hurt it and I pushed it back in. But I'm afraid that I hurt him really bad. Should I be worried about it or will it be fine. do I need to put some neosporin or something on it. I really don't want to lose this kit it is one of my purebreds. Btw this kit is four days old and it happened yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!! Thanks in advance !!!

He will probably be fine. Put some iodine on it, or if you don't have it, neosporin, and leave it alone.
