Hello, I am new to posing. I would like to get everyone's opinion on my posing and the rabbits please. I just bought 5 rabbits last weekend and need advice so that I know what to look for. I did not take pictures of one of them because she is healing. Can you please tell me what you think. :)

I think that you did a good job posing them! Zohar’s feet are a bit far forward, but some rabbits are just determined to do that.
Zohar has good shape and depth she is undercut, though, and could fill out more in the hind quarters. Her ears also appear to be a bit long.
Kelilah has good shape and depth, bit looks a bit hippy and might have low shoulders. It’s hard to tell from pictures, sometimes.
Teme has good shape and really good depth. Her ears are a bit long and she might be a tad long, though, and she needs to fill out more in the hind quarters.
I think that Tzel is the best. He has the best hind quarters, good shape and good depth. From the pictures, he looks like he has the nicest fur out of any of the others. He might be a tad long, but I think that over all he is pretty nice. :)

Both Zohar and Tzel peak a bit late probably due to being a little long in the shoulder or possibly not being posed just right. If you can fit more than one finger between the rib and hip bones they may be long in body instead. Zohar is leaning to one side which might be making the near hip stand out more than it would and makes it hard to tell anything from the shot behind. Kelilah has very flat (chopped) hindquarters but otherwise I think she looks better balanced of the 2 brood does. Teme has a good shape but her hindquarters look undercut and her ears look too long for her body. Her coat also looks a little soft and not that springy but that's hard to tell from pics. Tzel overall looks to have good balance but like I said he peaks late and he might be a little pinched. You can see the indent between his shoulders and hips from the top shot. I wonder if his hind feet weren't just a tad too far forward making everything not line up quite as well. It's hard to see the individual joints on a dark or light self rabbit if the lighting isn't just right so I'm not sure exactly where his hip is in relation to his toes.

Thanks everyone! I loved those pointers and opinions! They were a lot of help! I don't know if it because I am unexperienced, or if it is just cause they are juniors...but how do you get them not to tilt or pull away?

Lots of practice and handling so they get comfortable and you get better at positioning them. Some petting and handling before trying to set them up might help. I read somewhere to slide the rabbit through your hands to the table several times until they feel less stiff and tense.

Rachel,
I liked the B/Black Doe and the Black Buck the best out of all of them.
If it were me, I would start my breeding leaning toward the two I mentioned.
Breed the Does to that Black Buck.
Save the two best Does and Best Buck from each litter.
Start working with the best of those rabbits as they become older and you can see
definite progress. You breed the Does back to the Sire and the Dam to the best son.
In time you will know where the best animals are and who produces like or better than the parent.
As always, JMPO.
Ottersatin.

Thank you! I hope all goes well. Tzel and Teme and going to their first show on the 24th...IF I can get them tattoo'ed. ;) I hope they do well. :D
