Mini rex breeding question

How old does a mini rex doe have to be before breeding for the first time? Want to breed her maybe some time next spring but I don't know if that will be to soon. I got her at a fair in august I believe as a 8 or 9 wk old kit but I'm not to sure actually how old she is. Totally forgot to ask the breeder stupid me. I'm not in a rush to breed her just want to actually know just incase she is old enough.

If she was 2 months in August then she was born in June and will be 5 months old in December. This is when I try breeding my does for the first time so your plan to breed in spring shouldn't be a problem. I would just be careful to keep her fit and trim as too much fat around the ovaries can cause problems with fertility.
