Meet Griffin

So all because of MSD's pictures of her litter and other people who have posted pictures of Australian shepherd puppies, along with constant nagging from my wife, we found Griffin. He is a full blooded Australian shepherd and sweet as can be. (I can say that now because he stopped whining and is asleep on my lap.) We bought him yesterday from someone who was about 1 1/2 hours away for $175.00 He is a blue Merle with sparkling blue eyes. We love him.

Sherlock was a terrible whiner for the first few days, even with the company of the other dogs, so it may take a bit for him to settle in. Sherlock is still a talker though- he gets that from his dad.

the whining stops when you are in constant contact with the pup!!! I think Gunny whined for just a couple minutes when Sky left the Nursing Home parking lot-- then he decided I was his person-- we slept that night on the floor of my new place-- I held his paw... Puppies are so much fun--and, unlike children, if they mis-behave, it is legal to put them in a crate!

I think he just needs a lot of attention right now because even with him being in my lap and me petting him he whines. This is after being taken out to do his thing, which he is suprisingly good at. Hopefully house breaking him won't take long at all. He is such a cute and cuddly thing.
