I just breed doe new zealand black with red tint in the fur no pedigree mom was all white dad was black with the same red tint.i breed her to my champ buck.im really curious if any of yall had pics of wierd or different looking mutts i would love to see some champagne mutts.

black with red tint usually suggests fur that is a but sunbleached.

There are my most mixed up babies to date, harlequinized high rufus chinchilla and and harlequinized chocolate chinchilla.

I think their "pedigree" includes most major meat breeds...

Gosh I don't even know what makes up my meat rabbits. Some NZ, Satin, Rex, and Harlequin I think but I'm not sure...

This is inspiring... So, do you just take in a little of what you like... pretty rabbits, big rabbits, healthy ones... and keep working on a line to get what you want for meat mutts? This could be a license for me to go shopping for random adorable rabbits.

I don't have any grown out ones, but I definitely have some colorful meat mutts! A NZW doe with a mutt buck. I really am rethinking sticking with one breed/color!

I had no idea what this was when I first saw it, but loved it! Of course, this is the one my dog got ahold of :(

Of course, these might be too small to be decent meat mutts... I have no idea. At 4 weeks they were 13-14 oz. I am excited about the possibilities though!

I really wish I could get some of Zass's mismarked doelings - I think I could have some fun with them paired with my mutt buck!

I breed for fun colors all the time :D

With mutts, there is that luxury of knowing that you don't have to follow anyone's rules but your own.

They are not worth much for sale.. But to me, their bottom dollar is still the value of the dressed carcass.
