I've read plenty of claims that marigolds keep rabbits away from vegetable gardens, but have also found a few people claiming that marigolds (stalks, leaves and flowers) are great for rabbits. I would like to supplement my pellet/hay diet for my rabbits and marigolds grow like crazy year round anywhere I put them. Any advice?
Edit: Further research shows that the pot marigold (Calendula officinalis) is the bunny friendly flower, not the french marigolds that thrive in my beds. I just ordered a seed pack of the pot marigolds and will give them a try.
