awesome! I have an old pioneer recipe book and been thinkin about that hasenpfeffer recipe in it but been kinda scared of it hahaha... in the back of the book it has remedies for things, one of which says for someone who was struck by lightening: "for a couple of hours shower in cold water. in case there is still no sign of life, add a cupful of salt and continue for another hour" 19th century swiss remedy :shock:

Ohiogoatgirl- my I laws have an old book of remedies like that. The remedy for opium poisoning is to insert an ice cube into the rectum. Now doesn't that sound fun?

The dinner looks delicious. I can't wait until we have some home grown rabbit to eat.
