Here's my new pup! Her name is Śnieżka. She has two pools and a tarp that gives her 85% shade all day long.
Noticed my Silver Fox rabbit was panting like she was on the Sun, had to move her into a pen on the grass to get her cool. Really hope nothing gets into the yard while she is out there, she is due in a few days and is my last SF!
Śnieżka has met the ducks and the buff Silkie chicken, since she kept pecking at her, lol. She would rather flop in the mud out with the ducks than be in her pen that is in the duck pen. =D
In a few days, once she has met everyone, I will start leaving her out with the birds longer and longer. No sheep for her to be harmed by, so her learning will go a bit faster than others who have them with goats/sheep.
Met some of the rabbits as well, played bounce and pounce with some duck eggs and 'helped' me with watering rabbits.
I got some Guinea keets, hen was fine, then hated them. So I need to get a bulb and extension cord to heat the chicks & keets.
Śnieżka will meet the sheep and horses tomorrow, from a bit of a distance, but still more of a meet than just kind of knowing they are around, lol.
Better pics tomorrow. =D

Adorable!! What breed is she? How old is she? How do you pronounce her name?

Sn-eh-z-kah would be fairly close.
She is a Great Pyrenees [mom] mixed with Maremma [dad.]
4/11/2012 is her birth date.
Her black will eventually fade to pale gray or totally vanish.

OoooO!! She's very young. You have a lot of training ahead of you but it'll be fun! We desperately need an LGD but until I'm living on the farm, there's no point because Greg has way too much going on without having to deal with training a pup.

Yay! Those coons and foxes will think twice about killing your critters once she grows up a bit!

It's good that you gave her a pool- our pyr loves getting himself wet when it is hot.

There is a person in WV selling GP for just $150! If I had known before, I would of gotten on of theirs instead. Want me to pick one up for you, Ollitos...?? LOL.
Not much training to do, just keep her from going for/playing with anything she should be protecting.

She met the pony, she's scared of him...lol!

From what I've read, she shouldn't play with your other dogs, either. We always kept Pilot separate, but he gets along well with the other dogs- but when they are on opposite sides of the fence, he will pee on them if they get too close! :x

Pic overload warning!

Ducklings living with adult ducks in harmony, difficult to do with chicks & chickens. =D Another reason ducks are better to raise for meat than chickens!

Baby Cali and mom Cali napping. She had 3 kits this time, 2 died from the heat, mom kept adding hay/fur! This one I saved, bare nest for a week and now no nest at all.

She doesn't play with them, she's on the other side of the fence. I'll introduce them in 'person' later in the week so they all officially know each other, but they won't be allowed to play together until she's much older. Since some days, they are in the big yard to run and roll.

Good plan. We introduced ours too, but they weren't allowed to play until Pilot was much older.

That is a Pyr face all right, it's funny how the markings show up more often when they're crossed. we don't get many Pyrs up here, I should say I don't see many at work, there's lots that don't come off the farm.

I love pyrs we breed them I use to show beagles and then switching to pyrs was intresting. I live in the north west and when I got my two boys I cried every day they were these lovely white puffy pups and obe trip to the bathroom resaulted in "hey I found a mud puddle!" Or lets get mom mad and roll in cow dung! And the hair that comes off the first time its unbelievable I filled two contrators bags of puppy blow out (first coat shedding) but there sweet personality won me over I have two males whylie and runner and my female nimbus
