I've gotten two kinds of scrapers, one that had a roll of bristles on the bottom and the other had a metal thing to scrape with and bristles on the bottom, the roll doesn't last long but I've been using the scrape-abd-bristle for a while now

I order grill brushes off amazon. Let me see if I can find you a link of what I get. I get two types.
I get both long handled and short handled versions of these. Totally LOVE them for cleaning the entire cage.
https://amzn.to/3Gx0HKU They work extremely well whether wet or dry

for spot cleaning:
WowAkano Wire Brush Set, 6Pcs Mini Wire Cleaning Brush Set, Brass, Stainless Steel, and Nylon Heavy Duty Curved Handle Grip,Wire Brushes for Cleaning Rust,Cleaning Dirt & Paint-7Inches&9 Inches: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific though honestly I can usually find something similar at the dollar store cheaper.

Over the winter I have discovered the wonderful usefulness of a hook and pick set.
https://amzn.to/3aaDUZC SO VERY excellent for spot cleaning a cage when the cold of winter sets in and I can't spray wash cages.

Thank you for the tips on things to use for cleaning cages- this is definitely a challenge common to most rabbit-raisers. Appreciate it!

So this Magic Scraper has teeth that go in-between the wires and scrape the calcium deposits off the wire. I have been using a small length of 1/2 inch PVC pipe for this. I still need to call the company to find out if the spacing between the teeth is big enough for 14 gauge wire, since I know most of the cages they make are 16 gauge. I have always wondered what other breeders use for removing the calcium deposits from the wire (thanks for sharing everyone!), and am always concerned about messing up the galvanization as well. Don't want premature rusting if I can help it!
