A doe just gave birth before my eyes to 7 kits. While she continued the first ones were nursing so some ended up with full bellies. It was her first litter. :p

:p Lucky, I had something similar happen with me.

My doe was on day 41 and (please don't hate me) but I put the buck with the doe so when she does give birth its in the comfort of her home with her prepared nest. Put them together around evening, watched them for a while to make sure they're ok with each other, came the next morning to see her hutch FILLED with fur (literally ran thinking he killed her) but guess what, she was just in the hide out ALIVE and giving birth on day 42 to 8 live cute bunnies. Took him out and left her alone because I know she's still cautious of me (had her bred there so I didn't have her for long) and I didn't want to disturb her. Came back later and she had a lovely nest for her first time and now her kits are starting to open their eyes.
