After admiring satins for many years, I finally got a pair! Yay!

They are such a fascinating color I've never seen. Don't have the camera handy, I will try to describe. They are selfs. In the sunlight, they ripple back and forth from pale blue to a light brown. Indoors, if you took the color they call "burnt umber" and faded it a lot, and then added a dollop of deep golden honey, that comes close. In photographs taken with a flash, they look pale blue!

Does that sound like seal with dilute? Anybody care to theorize?

Sounds like a Siamese with blue tint, and if I had to guess as to where the crosses happened, it would be that someone crossbred a siamese to a copper, chinchilla, or a blue. Coppers have a bluish gray undercolor, so that would be my first guess.
