This is my litter of 5 day old Netherlands. They're out of a broken smoke pearl and a broken seal marten. The broken smoke has very little color on him and the broken seal marten is too heavily patterned. So, I ended up with 2 with very little color (possibly charlies), 1 solid, (I think it's a smoke pearl!) and 1 with a perfect amount of color and I just love his pattern...what is with the stripe down his back? I'm thinking he may be a broken Siamese Sable. The momma of this litter is a real sweetie. We just love her! She is the doe I got along with all the cages in my barter deal. This was her first litter and she had all 4 babies in the nest box, pulled fur, no peanuts or stillborns, and is taking great care of them! She is super tiny so I was honestly expecting her to not have any live babies, especially the first time around. She surprised all of us and is one of the best first time mommas I've ever seen.
