OK can someone explain this to me for rabbits. If I start with a pair and have a nice litter from them. I can breed back to either parents but its not good to breed siblings is that right? So if offspring 1 is breed back to dad and those offspring are breed to the offspring of the offspring 1 litter mates(aunt/uncles) is that ok even tho they are really still siblings? OH man I just confused myself!

If you line breed or inbreed your rabbits they will not end up with three eyes or anything like that. Check out the thread breeding to the strong points in your herd, lots of good info there. Check the threads at the bottom left of the page as well. The key thing to remember with in breeding and line breeding is ALL traits in your herd are intensified, good and bad so cull hard for what you want to see in your herd. I tend to take as much notice of 'relationships' as my rabbits do, none at all.
