Okay, so here is what I'm faced with right now....have 2 does w/litters quarantined away from other rabbits...
1 started sneezing about 4 days ago (lots of sneezes in a short amt. of time) no snot, just sneezing...
The next day rabbit next to her sneezed at least once or twice...
So, I moved both of them out from the barn and separate from each other..
Today, one of the 1st does kits (who are 3 wks. old) has mucous in an eye.
2nd doe sneezed again today.
Also, my one and only buck has weepy eye w/whitish liquid, not thick like mucous---please tell me he's not suspect....
My thought is to put down the kit w/eye problem and check out it's lungs..
I'm thinking most likely I will find pus filled lungs, then I should probably put down that whole litter and doe...right?
With the other doe, I'm a little more attached and want to keep at least one of her babies (she had a few Blue SF kits, they are 2 wks. old)... what's the best way to go about this one???
I know opinions will vary as I've read other threads and realize the risk pasturella presents itself to my herd.. I appreciate any advice I can get.

uneducated idea? Put down one and check. No pus? Keep them quarantined. If you find pus put them all down. The litter you are attached to quarantine somewhere far away and hope the stars align. If possible i would put them all on antibiotics as soon as theyre old enough.

Just put down the kit--here is the pic of the lung, no puss that I can tell..
Does it look normal to those experienced???

Normal healthy looking lungs as far as I can tell from the photo ... photo would have to be majorly outta whack :D

It's unlikely you will find pus filled lungs on a kit. Usually, what you see in rabbits with P is lungs that show pneumonia OR abcesses (lots of white lumps) but usually only after they have been ill a while. Here is how I handle symptoms, maybe it will help.

Sneeze or two, no snot = watch, check nose for hay, pellet or seed stuck.
Sneeze repeatedly, no snot = quarantine 1 month, freezer camp if sneezing continues with no apparent cause (dust, fines, etc.)
Sneeze with clear discharge = quarantine 1 month, freezer camp if sneezing continues with no apparent cause (dust, fines, etc.)
Sneeze with white snot = freezer camp
Eye discharge, clear = quarantine and look for cause. If no cause found, freezer camp
Eye discharge, white = freezer camp

What does the eye discharge look like? Sometimes, I pull "eye boogers" off my rabbits. It's pretty similar to the junkies my kids wake up with in the morning.

Thick, white, pasty gunk....not like eye boogers.

Thank you for the responses!!! One Acre Farm, I like your protocol!!
Now, how to deal with kits of mom's that sneeze? Especially ones that you'd like to keep...separate them at 4 wks. or before?

Get those kits eating hay and oats ASAP.
Tip the box to get them going a bit.
Remove the doe at day 17.. remove HER not the kits.

Cull her.

Keep the kits in isolation for the next 5-6 months. Breed one. Watch her for sneezing/snot till her kits are weaned. Watch the kits. IF the kits get nestbox eye, snot, dirty eyes post three weeks cull.
