Funny! I've had a couple of dogs who loved to do that, plow head first into a snow drift and come out the other side. I always feared that some day there will be a tree stump under that drift but thankfully it never happened. :lol:akane":2qyo3mo0 said:It's over my boots. Not even in the drift spots. Snow today, snow tonight, crazy blowing winds tomorrow. Yay! :| At least it has made dogs happy. How are akitas supposed to properly drift bust if they don't have a drift deep enough to plow head first in to and then spin in circles making a huge crater. I think Zami needed to live up north with the sled dogs. As soon as it gets cold and snow she attempts escape to run. My mom was supposed to be watching her once but of course ignored everything I said. She lost Zami for 5 hours in -20F with feet of snow. Zami took my mom's dog with her. Dakota comes back miserable, limping, and exhausted. Zami is going bouncy bouncy, guess where I've been, you should see the creek... despite her paws being full of ice. Dakota never follows Zami anymore.
