Actually, I move it to wherever the grass is most plentiful-- my grassy area is only 12 x 15 feet! when it has been well covered, I just moved things over to overlap by an inch or two-- Do have to watch and monitor the grazing, as the booger will dig up the roots and eat them. Once the last liitle bit of grass and weeds are down to size,I will rake, seed, and tamp things down. Then, hopefully, in the spring, things will sprout up nice and thick. I have been transplanting clover, dandelions, plantain, ragweed etc into this area, and throwing in mixed grass seeds when I can. I do not believe in monoculture for pasturage! Moving larger tractors in rows helps one keep track of the areas that have been grazed, and how long ago they were grazed. If a person really gets into tractoring rabbits and other smaller livestock, specialized areas can be planted to help meet all the needs of the animals, while at the same time, taking into consideration recovery rates and growing/reproductive seasons of the plants.
