Hi, I just received a doe that was taken out of a bad situation. I guess she had a litter that died when they were about 3 1/2 or 4 weeks. :? (really?!) Anyway, she seems pretty healthy, but her teats are swollen, not hot and no discharge, but very lumpy and full. I read on here that mint will help dry her up, but I won't be able to get to the store till tomorrow. Anything else that might help in the meantime? Thanks

You can apply cabbage leaves to her teats which will help stop milk production. You can also apply hot (not too hot!) compresses to her teats- the warmth may cause her milk to spontaneously let down, but if not you can try to express the milk for her.
