Hello!

I had a litter of three small breed kits, and I sold two about a week ago. I noticed after I sold them that the doe I have kept is not eating her cecotropes(I think that's what they're called  ). She is 7 1/2 weeks old. The cecotropes are perfectly formed, the problem is that they are there and not in her stomach again. She is otherwise eating, drinking, and pooping normally. She has grown fine, and is a good size. She is very active. A few days ago I started reducing her pellets and increasing her hay, but it hasn't changed. I tried oats for a day too. Anything that could be wrong?

They don't always eat all of their cecotropes and unless she is obese and cannot reach her butt she is probably getting some.

PS it is highly recommended that you not sell baby rabbits until 8 weeks old
