Willows litter are coming up 6 weeks old now, all 7 of them are still alive and doing well (they had lots of extra care when they where tiny). But I just wanted to make sure that I had their colours all good. There are definately two chinchillas (what kind of chinchilla though?...), and two smoke pearl martens. The other three I have been calling two sables, and a siamese sable.
They maybe aren't the best photos for identifying colours, but I can get some more if needed. These where just the ones I happened to have on the computer.

Thanks :)

Sable and Siamese sable are the same colour.

Seal's are nearly black and can be difficult to tell apart from self blacks. A seal has two shaded genes and some breeds accept self chinchillas as seals.

Siamese sables have a "silvery" stage when they are 2 weeks old and this is the best time to tell the seals and sables apart. Sables will also lighten with age so you will notice them fading out with each moult.
