My Jersey Wooly Doe has 4 kits. The Doe' s color is broken black. The father is a black. The Doe,s parents were black and pointed white black. The bucks parents are ruby eyed white and broken blue. We got a black kit, broken black kit, a white kit with light California markings with ruby eyes then my favorite. The littlest kit is white but looks like ash was sifted down on it. The feet have a little ash color along with it's belly. The kit has ruby eyes. What color is it? It is very neat looking. If it is a Doe and survives I plan on keeping it for me. It is half the size of the others and is now over 2 weeks old.

It is a black himilayan, some people call it or californian marked or pointed white. The gene is heat sensitive so in kits they can get a light yellow or brown tinge to their coats as they are easily chilled and you said this was the smallest kit so it is more noticeable than it's sibling, who could be a blue himilayan with fainter colour. It will only be on the ears, nose, tail and feet as an adult.

I have added a picture, not all will be as extreme as this and if it is a blue, chocolate or lilac himilayan then it will be a lighter shade.

how wonderful. I am really taking liking to himis, gives a little character to regular old REWs.

Thanks dood you sure know your colors. I am looking forward to seeing how the kits look in the future. I am going to try and take pictures on my kindle to post today.
