Temperatures around here are in the high 90's and may even reach 100 tomorrow. My rabbits are in outdoor hutches and under heavy shade. Even though they appear to be tolerating the heat well I still have been placing a couple frozen water bottles in each pen. They all like playing with the bottles and a few even lay next to them.

I use the frozen water bottles along side high volume fans blowing on them inside the big barn. Just this morning I installed a misting system and all I can say is WOW!!! It's like walking into an air conditioned building now and the rabbits are noticeably more active now that they are cooler and more comfortable.

Went out yesterday and had 5 week olds laying in 2 water bowls and had ice bottles in too. Had 103.8 on the thermometer today!! Cool down coming tomorrow and maybe rain!!
