It doesn't seem To really be a problem.... But.... for some reason some, not all... just a few here and there... and not the same ones each day either... are slightly Off feed. It is just enough to make me go "Hmmmmm", and wonder if there is 'something' going on .
I've been spoiled for the past year with the rabbits gobbling down their pellets each day. Now having some leaving a portion does concern me. Most are still eating great. I do give everybunny a small handfull of coarse hay each morning... All of them eat that right up.
Poopies are normal... no runs... perhaps a bit smaller than they had been... but if they aren't eating as much ... they would be smaller, right ?
DH thinks that with the swift changes in the weather... they might be a bit 'off'. I'm looking for suggestions and ideas. I'm even thinking of pulling the pellets for one day on those that are leaving and only giving hay for feed.

Thanks for letting me worry 'out loud' :bunnyhop:

Now you have me going-- MIne are doing the same thing-- smaller poopies, eating less, And yes, the weather has been erratic-- I have the window to the front room wide open, so the temps in there are more like outside...

Our buns' eating habits fluctuate with the weather some. I just figure that as long as they are eating and drinking, and the poops are normal, I don't need to worry about it. Watch, yes. Worry, no. :)

Mine have been up and down with the pellets too, but we went from warm in the mid to upper 70's, and then down into the 50's with frost at night. They were eating great, and then we went back up into the 70's and 80's, and it's been up and down since.

I have one doe right now who has been worrying me a bit. She loves her hay, and she's barely eating any pellets at all. She waits for her hay, and she's eating minimal pellets. It's supposed to cool down into the 50's again by weeks end, so we'll see what that brings. Crazy weather!
