I have no idea but he is cute. :) Looks like a dwarf of some sort from the square nose. But then again he looks like he may be big from another pic. How big is he? And how old?

Looks like holland lop. Ears are a bit short, but the body is right. How old is he?

He ain't really that big. Might weigh like 3 or 4lbs if that. And the age Im unsure about. My bro's girlfriend got him from someone and didn't realize it was a buck instead of a doe like she was looking for. Im trying to figure out what breed he is because everyone keeps asking me since im trying to get read of him and find him a good home.

To bad we don't know about how old he is. That would make a huge difference in our guesses. He is a tort though right?

Maybe just label him as a dwarf cross tort rabbit. If he is under 4 months old then he may have some growing to do. If he is older then he is a mini/dwarf breed for sure.

Good luck finding him a nice home.

Polish/Netherland Dwarf cross maybe? That would explain the short ears.

he doesn't look very lionhead-y to me, but he might be the product of a single mane x single mane breeding, which can result in no mane.

hmmm never knew that a lionhead could possibly not have a mane.

__________ Tue Oct 23, 2012 6:36 pm __________

Here are a few more pics I have of him.

Disappointing when you get a Lionhead w/o a mane for sure..or when it ends up with a weak wispy mane. I love the double manes or the double mane Lion-Lop.

Does look a lot like a Holland lop w/o the lop half, but the ears seem short.

though I have seen ears that short, but usually in the ones born in the winter.

i have lops born that ended up looking like that. They have the lop body but the ???? stupid head.

I'd call him a lop cross and be done with it.

Definitely looks like a Holland Lop Head. Ears are too wide for a Lion Head, but then if this is a mix, which it is, you really don't know what the breeder was thinking.

I'd say it's a mixed dwarf breed. How's his temperament? If he's going to be a pet, state his positives, more than what breed he is.

He's cute.

His a good boy. Loves to just hop around and be noisy lol. I was thinking his a mix to just was kind of curious with what tho. And thanks he is a cutie since his kind of small

I see Holland in him, but if he's crossed with anything it would have to be a Netherland... too stocky and bold-headed for any other type of cross. Both those breeds have an upright posture which he also seems to have.
