Ivomec Injectable....How do you use it?

I am raising Californians. Now that summer is here I have been battling earmites and have been using a mixture of mineral oil and compfo pheni (spelling) . That will put them down but then they seem to be right back I have sterilized my setups and everything and now I wanna try to keep them out. I ave been hearing diff. Ways to use the ivomec. On my dogs I use the ivomec injectable but give them 10th cc per 10 lbs. Orally. Should I do the same with rabbits?

I've added 5-6 droplets per a 8-9 pound rabbit w/o issues. Though, I have the pour-on, not inject-able. Don't know what the difference is.
