So I had 4 does kindle some very nice litters. 1 kindled about 7 weeks ago, and 3 others 5 weeks ago.

The litter that is 7 weeks old I weaned out at about 3.5 - 4 weeks old as the doe stepped on, and killed a few of the kits. They all did great with the weaning, and have been packing on the weight! I have 3 that are 2, and a half pounds already! :p

The group of 5 week old litters I am planning on starting to wean them out. I already took "B", and Oswin, and placed them in different cages. I need to do some cage flipping before I am able to put Luna into her own cage. I am hoping all goes as well as the first weaning with these other litters.

(Funny part) I had noticed "B" trying to escape her kits which is new of her to do since she's is my one doe that had always been up her kits butts more than the other does. I figured she was telling me, "Mom I need a break, get me out of here!!" So I placed her in her own cage, and she went right for the food bowl!! Usually her kits would sit in the J Feeder, and she would get the scrapes that the kits left behind. So I filled her bowl, and I have never seen a rabbit basically attack a bowl of food! You could almost her make "noming" noises, haha. I told her I feel her pain, our daughter is 4, and I have almost forgotten what a hot meal, or full meal felt like.
