Is this normal?

I have a blue Silver Fox kit who has crusty stuff in/by it's nose. It was the first one to open its eyes, the biggest, and I thought the healthiest. My herd has been exposed to pasteurella so do you think that's what this is or is it something else? The kits are 9 days old today.

depending on what you use for bedding it could just be dust. My kits all get green crusty stuff around their noses and I use grass hay for the bedding in the nestbox.

I use light brownish alfalfa hay and brown aspen wood shavings, so yeah, that probably would be it. Thanks!
