Well.. if rabbits lived in trees, this is how I'd picture them ;)
A long tail to keep balance and wrap around branches if necessary, sharp claws to climb with, using mainly the hindlegs but with small claws on the front paws it could stay steady while climbing.

Here is my tree-rabbit. I might have too much spare time

*lol* Squirrels are too small to be rabbits x) This is the size if a NZ - way more meat

Yep I've painted that :) Digital art, spent last night on it.

Close-up on the head:

Truly impressive canvas. I'd be a bit nervous if I saw that in my tree though, lol. Doesn't portray the "cute fuzzy" bunnies.

Thanks so much for sharing. Really enjoy seeing your work. Please post more.

It's cute compared to what I usually draw :D

Thank you :) I might.. I havn't done much bunny-ish creatures so I don't have a lot to show that belongs to this forum :)

__________ Tue Jan 15, 2013 7:09 pm __________

Other artwork was requested ;)

This is a WIP I started today. I sometimes never finish those, but we'll see. I like this one. Need to find a good referense for the rabbit though, I think. :)
I'm going to reshapr the foxes head a bit too.

ooooh! i always wished i could draw/paint better!

i love that fox and rabbit pic!! <3 i love it just as it is now with the shape lines and all. lol i'm weird like that.

Thank you :)

I was drawing this while waiting for my classmates today. Coloursoft on a black sheet of paper size A4 (regular printing paper). I guess that foxy picture got stuck with me somehow :p

Some of the expression got lost though, really hard to make neat details with thick pens like those and no erasor at hand

__________ Wed Jan 16, 2013 6:47 pm __________

Worked more on the digital vrsion of the fox and rabbit :)

Wish i had the pateints for digital or skill, and to be able to buy a good program and pad. so for now i stick with colored pencils lol when i get as far as to color the doodles! At least they sorta erase lol

Artweaver is a free program that runs on windows :) It's pretty good and easy to use. (I have a mac so I don't use it, but..) If you want to get into digital you'll need a tablet, but there might be a chance to buy a nice one secondhand. Go for wacom, they're simply the good ones. size a6 or a5 fits most people, I for one can not work on any bigger.

I have no patience whatsoever..

I had APS7.0 (pirated) so i had no way to switch it over -.- been looking at wabcom intuos 4(sp?)or aiptek...but may go with a kanvas 127.

i dont doodle much though, so idk if i wanna spend over 100$ for something i may not use often

If you're not going to use it a whole lot and go proffessional, you'd probably do just as well with a wacom bamboo. I personally don't really notice a differense except the number of buttons (and possibly the eraser on the back of the pen?) but I never use those anyway. I know there is a differense but I don't notice it.
I only really know about wacom and Trusrt.. and everyone I've heard of are not pleased with trust since the tablet broke within weeks. With one exception, and that guy had only had it for a month. :3
You could also buy second hand. A lot of people buy new, don't use, re-sell. I bought my intous second hand and I've had it for some.. 5 years I think.

Well, artweaver is a free program. Unless you intend to pirate again, it's worth a try :p There's also photoshop elements but then I think I prefer artweaver.

There are wacom bamboos on CL but i can buy them new for the same price on Amazon atm...Amazon has seems to have varying prices lol. i just worry about spending the money and getting frustrated with it lol only to store it in a box until i get the courage to try again lol. i need to watch more youtube videos. but it would defiantly make my drawings better and hurt my wrist a lot less using pen instead of a mouse, which seems to make my wrist lock up a lot more.

i will have to check out artweaver too. i have dabbled with gimp, but after having photoshop i am highly unimpressed.

Well, it took me 10 minutes to get used to the pen. Still never use it for web browsing though, only drawing. The pen won't make the artist.. but it's a realy good and in my opinion necessary tool for digital drawing :)

I can't stand gimp..*lol* The reason I liked artweaver was becasuse it was free, had layers and a userpanel with the same concept as photoshop. It's not as good as phtoshop, I miss (or just never learnt since I only tried it for a short while) some features,.. but it's an ok program. Lress messy than Gimp.

Btw, you can download ps cs2. It's legal if you have bought it once before. They're setting out a version that doesn't need keys, as far as I understood it, since they're removing some service.

I saw that on DA...since i havnt bought it before its very not legal for me lol and they said in an interview they would not be releasing any cs2 or updated or recent elements for free

I was gonna try sketchbook pro 6 too with a trial and it looks simple enough not to make me bust a sweat getting things done. and omg i thought it was just me wth Gimp!! I looked at tuts on DA and was like hoooow da.....****.... lol dooo not like Gimp.

Artweaver is DLin and from pics it loos a lot like APS layout..not sure which one i used with photoshop now that i think about it. maybe have been elements 7 not sure. But anyways ya...i need to pay bills then if i clean the whole house all pretty maybe hubby will lemme spend the 50$ for the bamboo wacom haha..which was 80$ on amazon a few weeks ago.
